Preface
The Social Democratic Alliance has a Provisional Regional Charter in place to ensure that member nations adhere to the principles of justice, democracy, and liberty that our region values. A Official Regional Charter will be drafted through democratic consensus in the near future.
Part 1: Civil Rights and Political Freedoms
-To ensure that member nations adhere to the principles of justice, democracy, and liberty, member nations may not have political freedoms or civil rights below "Average."
-Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a temporary stripping of charter nation status if necessary, and the nation in violation of the policy will have two weeks to fix their civil rights or political freedoms.
-Failure to do this will result in ejection.
Part 2: Elected Offices
-The following ministries, along with the position of World Assembly delegate are to be elected offices,
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Ministry of Domestic Affairs
Ministry of Immigration
-Elections will be held every month after the first regional election is held, which will take place soon.
Part 3: Charter Nations
-Charter nations are defined as nations that have agreed to the principles of the Provisional Regional Charter.
-Charter nations are able to participate in regional elections, and running for political office.
Part 4: Embassy Policy:
-For the time being, our embassy policy is not overly strict or rigid.
-We will accept any embassy requests from any democratic regions for the time being.
Part 5: The Future Charter
-In the near future, a new charter will be drafted through democratic consensus.
-This new official charter will render this charter void.
-Nations who agreed to the Provisional Charter will be allowed to remain charter nations so long as they agree to the new charter.
